So, in summary: Making the right connection in life is a must, starting out as a young lad from the north of the UK with a dream not just about being rich and famous, although I did as a young man, but to be where I’m happiest and that’s with the people I love.
In great surroundings with a glass of my favourite Italian wine in hand knowing that I worked hard, did my best and made the right impact in people’s lives… I am planning on meeting many more individuals and seeing more of this wonderful world in which we live.
FANCY COMING ALONG FOR THE RIDE?
Hi I’m Fitz, left of this picture, short dark handsome chap from the North of England. Born and bred in Manchester big smile, big heart, crazy mad about people and new connections.
Coming from a west Indian family the kitchen was the engine room where everything happened. After joining my father and his new wife at the age of 9, which was the second major impact of my life after my birth mother’s stroke at the age of 6, resulting in her being left disabled.
Neither my birth mother nor the foster homes I stayed in could control this rude loud mouth, nasty little boy, So off I went to my Pops.
Boom the step mother... sadly passed away some years ago but was my saving grace on instilling discipline and respect into this raggedy skinny ass boy.
I am 57 years young with 2 amazing sons, two granddaughters, and all doing well. One is a chef and assistant manager of one my businesses and the other has his own business as a barber. I am devoted to my beautiful life partner Zoe, living in the ocean city of Plymouth down in the South West coast of England, still loving life and the many wonderful things life brings
Nothing makes me happier than meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals.
Some would say I am a seasoned pro and know everything within the home business market, driving fast cars and travel the world all paid for by the company. However, that would not be ethical at all. As clear upfront expectations are our first point of call when introducing myself.
So here's my version of events for the past 3 decades.
I am a caterer by trade and spent most of my early working life up and down the UK with some great times in Italy as a chef. Hence my love for Italy.
Catering has given me the best exposure to so many characters along with the hard work ethics that is needed to last in this mad-cap industry.
Like I mentioned I’m 57 years young, and loving life at this moment in time.
Back in my late teens-early twenties I started to work as a chef/chauffeur for an amazing entrepreneurial couple who had a national multi-million-pound furniture business. They had an amazing lifestyle, but hard work and dedication applied towards their success.
Because of that experience it gave me my first exposure of what is possible on your life’s journey.
Find what you love, add value, be coachable and help those on the way up in life.
It wasn’t until two decades later that I had the courage to do something for myself, prior to that I had a wonderful career within the hospitality industry running teams of professional chefs as I climbed up the ladder within the catering industry.
The one thing catering taught me was to value and respect the people around you. Boy have I met some fabulous individuals around the world, some of which i'm still in contact with to this day.
However, my career really took off back in 1996/1997 as I took the plunge to jump into the sales arena as a wine rep, a natural fit for me coming from the hospitality industry.
I took to it from day one. My success saw me travel to quite a few wine producing countries around the world from USA, Australia, Italy, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, France, Spain, Uruguay, Asia. Yes, they make wine in Asia and so many other countries.
Boy I have had a great life and many stories meeting so many people on my travels with some making a positive impact on my life to this very day.
When you have an open mind you are subconsciously learning and prepping for things to come.
I decided to take the plunge in working for myself around 2009 /10 with an old customer of mine and opened up a gastro-pub for whom I'm very grateful. What I learnt from both him and his wife was priceless, amazing couple, again it was a great experience and a great success.
However, life has a way of tripping you up from time to time. Although my working life was growing successfully, my home life wasn’t and like many before me my personal relationship with my wife at the time broke down after 22 years of marriage.
So I pulled away from the business to save my marriage knowing as soon as I did that it was the wrong move. I have a great relationship with my ex after all, we are the creation of two amazing young men.
People build people, I knew I had a passion and a want to build businesses but what type of business? At the time, coming out of divorce money wasn't free flowing, and I was too damn tired to sell my ass to the highest bidder who wanted their pound of flesh for me to make them rich.
I knew the universe was guiding me, you may call that belief, God, Ala or Buddha. But I was sitting back and thinking someone or something had a plan for me. With what, who and when I had no clue "yet". But what I did know is I had to build the right personal foundations, I'm a relationship man and I needed new people around me. People who would allow me to grow and help me step outside my comfort zone, which I knew was vital to do.
I knew I had to build the right personal foundations in my life and that began in a balanced relationship. So I embarked on meeting my soul mate (yes I’m a bit of an old romantic) some 8 months into me making this decision and after kissing a few frogs, I met a wonderful lady called Zoe.
You know the girl next door type, stunning, a lady that has propelled me into driving my current businesses and another chance in love but this time building an equal foundation emotionally.
This was now my time to re-set, focus and find the right tribe to support my vibe.
To this very day as you read this I'm blessed that the universe has been gentle with my life as at the age of 57 I've not experienced much turmoil.
Today our current businesses are within both the leisure and health-well-being sector.
My passion for wine and people lead both Zoe and I to open a wine lounge / deli “HonkyTonk Wine Library" (www.honkytonkwinelibrary.com) which for me is a wonderful personal environment.
However, my growth and my future comes and came with the massive decision of choosing Network Marketing a business of the 21st century . I say that for many reasons, one being associated with the right business community that helps you thrive (people build people), if you have a coachable & open mindset then our Direct sales business may just hit that mark.
Nothing good in life comes overnight. My overall aim in life is making a positive impact on as many people’s lives as I can before it is my time to leave.
Remembering money is just a by-product of what really matters in your life and again, in most cases that’s people and having the time to enjoy their company.
